Video Walkthrough

Overview

The User Management section is available to administrators and gives full control over who can access Enigma Editor and what they can do. The user table lists all accounts with their username, origin, role, plan, expiration date, and creator.

Two action buttons appear in the top-right corner: Import from CSV for bulk creation, and Create User for adding individual accounts.

User Roles

Administrator — Full access to all editor features including User Management. Can create, edit, and delete any activity and manage all users.

User — Standard access. Can create and manage their own activities, explore public content, and collaborate on shared activities.

Key Actions

Create User — Opens a form to add a new account with a username, role, and optional expiration date.

Role Swap — Change a user's role between Administrator and User at any time from the role dropdown in their row.

Expiration Date — Set a date after which the user's access automatically expires. Useful for temporary participants or trial accounts.

Delete User — Permanently removes a user and their associated data. This action cannot be undone.

Sort & Filter — Sort the table by name, role, or creation date. Use the search bar to find a specific user quickly.

Import from CSV — Upload a CSV file to bulk-create many users at once, ideal for onboarding large groups.

Tips

⚠️Only Administrators can access User Management. The section is hidden from standard user accounts.
💡Use Import from CSV when onboarding a new class or group — it's much faster than creating accounts one by one.
📅Setting an expiration date is recommended for temporary users such as students or event participants to keep your user list clean.
