What It Does
The Unlock Password stage shows players a four-digit pin pad. They must enter the correct code — discovered through earlier stages or physical props — to advance. An incorrect code shows an error and resets the input.
Configuration Parameters
Instructions — Text shown above the pin pad. Hint at where the code can be found.
Correct code — A four-digit number set by you, hidden from players.
Error message — Shown when a wrong code is entered. Keep it thematic to maintain immersion.
Success message — Shown when the correct code unlocks the stage.
Tips
Hide each digit in a different sub-stage or physical location — players must collect all four pieces before they can proceed.
Use numbers with story relevance (a year, a room number, coordinates) to reinforce the narrative rather than arbitrary codes.
